Clarence Dixon Cadillac, out of Hollywood, purchased the Cheetah with the intent to drive it on the street, and occasionally run a Cal-Club event in Southern California. However, it evolved into a race car with Jack Goodman, the owner, and Rolf Pickard, as the car's primary drivers. It was also driven by Mike Jones (Bill Thomas Race Car's driver), at the 1964 LA Times Grand Prix and once by Fred Yeakel in 1964 at Willow Springs (below)
