The Alan Green Chevrolet Cheetah competing in the 1965 Playes 200 at Mosport, Canada and in 2014 at Laguna Seca

We are here to remember the Cheetahs built by Bill Thomas Race Cars in Anaheim, California between 1963 and 1966. As they were produced not as someone wishes they were built. We do not build cars. I have loved these cars since I saw my first one in Hot Rod magazine. I had the good fortune to crew on the Dixon Cadillac sponsored Cheetah in 1964 and 1965. At Del Mar I did field service on the Rochester dual air meter FI and got it running on all 8 cylinders. At Willow Springs it was the brakes that caused trouble and at San Louis Obispo overheating and a transmission that did not want to shift that caused grief. Lots of good memories. I raced that Cheetah at Willow Springs in February 1965. In 1975 I tried unsuccessfully to purchase the ex Jerry Titus/Jerry Entin Cheetah. Then in 1989 came the chance to acquire the Alan Green Cheetah from Rob Pinkham. It has been a fun and exciting 50 years of hands on with the Bill Thomas Race Cars Cheetahs. I have had the privilege to work on two of the Cheetahs that campaigned in the USRRC. Thank you to all of you who contribute and help make this website a gathering place for lovers of true Cheetah race cars; a forum for discussing, enjoying, archiving, and learning about the Bill Thomas Cheetah.
